This last September started the exhibition “Fashion” in Stockholm’s Photography Museum (Fotografiska). Visitors can see over 200 fashion photographs created by 50 photographers from Man Ray’s experimental compositions from the 1920s, to icons like Irving Penn and Richard Avedon, leading eventually to Steven Meisel and Peter Lindbergh’s cult of supermodels during the 1990s. Today’s fashion photography is represented by names like Steven Klein and Mikael Jansson. The exhibition is based on Camera Work’s collection in Berlin, which received a great deal of attention the first time it was exhibited. You can visit the exhibition in Stockhom until January 2.
